Your fitness journey. How and why did you get started?

I just wanted to get in shape again!

How helpful has having a coach/trainer been for you?

My trainer and coach Matt keeps me going even when I don't feel like going anymore! He pushes me past my own limits. He also keeps me accountable in all things health in my life.

What are things you have learned along the way?

How important good eating habits are. When I first started training, we went over dieting and how to go about eating better. It took about two months before I really dedicated myself to it but ever since then, I've never looked back!

From where you are today, what is most important to you and your fitness goals moving forward?

How working out makes me feel! It completely makes my day. Also, nothing feels better than skinny. I'm so happy about where I am now and I wish others to feel the same way.

What is the single most important thing you learned that you would like to pass on to others who are getting started?

Good eating habits are the cornerstone to any workout or exercise regime. No one is perfect, but it is crucial to understand the food you should be eating and its effect on long term health!
